What should I wear?
The ceremony and cocktail hour/reception will be outdoors and on grass. High heels may sink into the ground so we recommend wide heels. If it is raining, all events will be indoors or under a tent.
Ithaca in September is normally warm in the days and cooler at night. Highs average the low to mid 70s and lows are in the high 50s. However it can be much warmer or much colder so it’s always a good idea to check the weather a few days before and have an extra layer ready!
During the ceremony there may be a lot of direct sunlight. Sunglasses recommended, silly hats encouraged.
Take a look at the wedding weekend page for some additional guidance on what to wear for each event!
